SUMMARY:MasterMinds--April
DESCRIPTION:This Month at MasterMinds: Building and Improving Audience Retention\n\n\n\nHeartland Men's Chorus is Kansas City's gay men's chorus\, now in their 30th anniversary season. The Chorus is a vital part of the region's art and cultural scene and has a reputation as one of the finest gay choruses in the country.\n\n \n\nKansas City is in the midst of a burgeoning cultural renaissance\, creating many more opportunities where folks can spend their entertainment dollars. While everyone wants a robust arts community\, it also means those dollars are being spread out among many more organizations\, venues and events.\n\n \n\nHMC is not alone as they try to figure out a way to build audiences and revenue. The main puzzle they are trying to solve is how to get those audience members who attend their first HMC concert to come back to buy tickets to their second concert. In other words\, how can HMC entice first timers to become sticky ticket buyers.\n\n \n\nHeartland Men's Chorus Development Director Cliff Schiappa\, along with Executive Director Rick Fisher\, will present at MAGLCC's next Master Minds program at 7:30am Tuesday\, April 26th at the offices of Bishop McCann\, 1701 Walnut\, Kansas City\, MO.
