Job Description?

The Virtual Care Tech will provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients using specialized software for patient safety and fall prevention.  First line of action is to verbally redirect the patient engaging in at risk behaviors.  Second line of action is notifying the unit staff that the patient requires immediate assistance.  Will be responsible for using the technology to admit, monitor, redirect patient, notify unit staff to intervene, and discharge patient when no longer at risk.
