DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the fourth annual "Celebration of International Friendship"\, IO Gala. The CGSC Foundation\, Inc is proud to host this special event to welcome and celebrate the new class of international military officers from around the world who have come to Fort Leavenworth to study military art and sciences at the U.S. Army's Command and General Staff College. This black tie event will begin with a reception at 7pm followed by the introduction of the international officers and a performance by the U.S. Army Chorus. This event is open to the public.\n\n\n\nThe U.S. Army Chorus is one of the nation's only professional men's choruses. From its inception\, the U.S. Army Chorus has established and maintained a reputation of excellence in the performance of male choral literature. Beyond the traditional military music and patriotic standards\, the repertoire of the Army Chorus covers a broad spectrum which includes pop\, Broadway\, folk and classical music. The Army Chorus performs frequently at the White House. When in Washington DC\, foreign dignitaries and military counterparts visiting our nation's senior leadership are greeted by songs performed in their native tongues\, as The Army Chorus is able to sing in 39 languages and dialects. Members of the chorus\, most of whom hold advanced degrees in music\, are selected from among the nation's finest musicians
