DESCRIPTION:The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its next cohort of Chamber Speaks.\n\n \n\nChamber Speaks is a four-month long series that enhances individuals' abilities to effectively speak\, conduct meetings\, lead groups and more. During the monthly sessions\, participants will engage in a variety of hands-on learning activities and instructional methods. Most importantly\, the program provides an affirming and constructive space for people to grow at their pace.\n\n \n\n\n"No matter what role we play in an organization\, communication is the foundation to success." Ricky Walker\, Human Resources Manager.\n\n\n\nThe program is open to active members of the Chamber. Eight to 10 members are selected for each four-month session. April 8th is a tentative start date. The instructor will reach out to those registered to find the dates and times which work best for the entire group. \n\n \n\nChamber Speaks is one of the growing number of educational opportunities\, resources\, and community-building events hosted by the Chamber. Ricky\, our instructor\, gave practical tips\, tools and resources on how to enhance your craft. I found myself enjoying each class and my fellow participants.
