DESCRIPTION:Join us for the concert event of the season!\n\nChoral Spectrum presents Pirates of Penzance In Concert! \n\nIn the spirit of Choral Spectrum\, we removed all gender requirements when casting\, allowing any person to audition for any part. The full chorus will also perform all of the ensemble parts\, including the Maidens\, Police\, and the Pirates. This operetta by the famous duo Gilbert & Sullivan is a historically significant work that has been performed all over the globe for over a century. Expect a very funny and quirky show that is lighthearted and family friendly!\n\n\n\n*****UPDATE!\n\nWe have added a special outreach performance for our LGBTQIA+ youth and youth allies! Free tickets will be available for all school age kids who attend (FRIDAY ONLY). Club Sponsors/GSA Representatives/etc will receive free admission\, with a suggested $15 donation. \n\nFor this special performance\, we are encouraging everyone to dress in their best pirate costume. The best dressed pirate will win a prize! For those who don't have costumes\, we will have a pirate hat-making station. Also\, after this performance we will provide punch and cookies.\n\nClubs/GSAs/Teachers/Youth: To reserve tickets for the LGBTQIA+ Youth Outreach Performance\, contact: cskc@choralspectrumkc.org.
