DESCRIPTION:No Divide KC is a Kansas City nonprofit organization with a mission of creating safe and inclusive spaces for all people through the Arts. To build social awareness\, and in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community\, No Divide KC presents the work of two KC-based artists\, Bubble Gum Kurt and Jared Horman. The exhibit's colorful installation\, drawings and textile work express volumes of Queer Joy and encourage visitors to playfully explore.\n\n\n\nThe Box Gallery is 830 square feet of space designed for exhibitions by local artists\, collectors\, and arts organizations. Underwritten by Commerce Bank\, the gallery's mission is to serve a Downtown audience of residents\, workers and visitors\, with creative cultural art and history exhibitions that will enliven\, enlighten and engage. The gallery is open to the public Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm. Free parking validation is available at the security office.\n\n\n\nThe exhibit was sponsored and developed by PRIDE\, Commerce Bank's LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG)whose mission is to provide an open and safe space where LGBTQIA+ and allied team members with a shared interest can grow\, develop and collaborate to reach their highest potential and serve as a resource for customer and employee insights.  The PRIDE ERG collaborated with No Divide KC to raise awareness of their arts and advocacy work\, and to show support and celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community in KC.
