As the Deputy District Director in the SBA's Kansas City District Office\, he is responsible for the oversight of SBA Programs and Services delivery across 28 counties in Eastern Kansas and 61 counties in Western Missouri. Basnet is also the Project Officer for the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network. In this role\, Basnet conducts onsite compliance reviews of the SBDC lead center and service centers. Prior to SBA\, Basnet worked at Cerner\, US Army\, and Deloitte. Basnet did his undergraduate in Economics from Brigham Young University and his MBA in Finance from Missouri State University.\n\n\nJill Hathaway (she/her)\, Regional Director Missouri Small Business Development Center at UMKC (LinkedIn Profile)\n\n\n\nIgor Soares (he/him) Business Opportunity Specialist\n\nIgor came to the Kansas City District Office by transferring from the Richmond District Office\, where he worked as a Lead Business Opportunity Specialist. He brings more than seven years of experience in government contracting and business development.
