The day celebrates Transgender and Gender Non-Binary (TGNB) individuals. It raises awareness about the transgender and gender non-binary community\, their struggles\, and what allies can do to eliminate the barriers this community faces. \n\n \n\nOur Chamber will celebrate TDOV by holding Transformation in the Workplace. \n\nThe day consists of three separate but interrelated acts. \n\n \n\nTraining Classes \n\nAttendees will learn how to better create an inclusive and equitable work environment for TGNB employees and co-workers. \n\n(Registration will open in March for classes with detailed descriptions)\n\n \n\nInclusion Resource Fair \n\nThe fair offers local organizations to exhibit their resources focused on the TGNB community. Business allies and community members are encouraged to attend the fair. \n\n \n\nPanel on Allyship \n\nThe panel will consist of TGNB employees sharing their workplace experiences and recommendations for how the business community can further equity for the TGNB Community. \n\n\n\nThe day will also include art curated by No Divide KC and Kansas City Academy!\n\n \n\n \n\n\nParking: Give yourself plenty of time to find parking in the downtown area. There is limited off-street parking. You can park in the KC Public Library\, Unfortunately\, we cannot validate parking for you. \n\n\n\nCovid Guidelines: We will follow local mask guidelines - They will be encouraged but not required.
