The Special Education Teacher for KVC Missouri Niles, a subsidiary of KVC Health Systems, is responsible for teaching students the academic and social skills in a private educational system. The teacher will work directly with therapists, teachers, behavioral health technicians, expressive therapists and other members of the treatment team. This position reports to the School Administrator and is located in Kansas City, MO.
Education for Special Education Teacher: Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensure/Certification for Special Education Teacher: Special Education Certification required. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Experience Requirements for Special Education Teacher: Experience working with children and families in a trauma-informed environment.
