SUMMARY
The cook is responsible for wowing our guests with delicious and timely prepared food. They work as a team to prepare and cook food for our 400-person Beer Hall, ensuring all food served meets the Boulevard standard of quality and craftsmanship.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare food for daily service
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
  • Handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with rest of kitchen staff
  • Process and manage food tickets ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in a high quality and timely fashion
  • Report equipment and menu issues to management
  • Clean up stations and take care of leftover food
  • Wash dishes used in kitchen throughout the day
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Follow all opening and closing instructions
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Proven working experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong alignment to company culture and values
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, works well in a team
  • Will be required to have food handlers license
  • Weekend work required
