KVC Hospitals is a nonprofit network of children’s psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment facilities in Kansas, providing families and children the hope and help they need to prevent suicide and other mental health crises. We are seeking a day shift and an evening shift Nurse Supervisor for our Kansas City, KS location.

The Charge Nurse for KVC Hospitals will supervise and coordinate patient care activities, direct nursing personnel and participate in staff development and evaluation of staff on assigned shift. Our Charge Nurse will also assist in direct patient care and represent management and administration in their absence. Shift is 7am-7pm.

Education Requirements for Charge Nurse: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.

Licensure/Certification for Charge Nurse: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.  Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Experience Requirements for Charge Nurse: Minimum two years of prior experience or training.

Base pay ranges from $32-$38 per hour depending on education and experience.

Must be 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check required.
