Summary Reporting to a Clinical Quality Leader, this role is responsible to review, analyze, and interpret data supporting Clinical efforts to medical review, HEDIS, and quality. The Analyst will track for trends, gaps, opportunities, and solutions. Will provide insight and recommendations to support Clinical needs. This role will coordinate efforts that supports records management and quality for the Clinical team.
Duties • Develops reports, data files and dashboards based on request requirements through direct interaction with business units. • Conducts research and analysis to provide insights and results back to business and manager. • Thorough knowledge of enterprise accepted analytical and data sources to satisfy business requests and maximize efficiency. • Review and audit of medical records • Create new and insightful metrics to help enterprise track and analyze data. • Analyze and interpret data, identifying trends and gaps for recommendations to leadership • Executes as a superuser of analytical solutions within the Clinical Quality department. • Assist with HEDIS monthly benchmarking newsletter updates • Assist budget tracking efforts to support HEDIS campaigns • Validates metrics and data load processes and the quality of the data loaded into clinical data repositories • Uses OnBase for document and records management. Reviews for accuracy of medical records. • Support validation of vendor invoicing.
Education Requirements Requires a LPN license or degree in healthcare, bachelor’s degree in healthcare, statistics or a related discipline
Experience Requirements • Requires 4 years experience in healthcare (or related) data analytics or data management role • Strong knowledge of reporting, data and systems • Strong knowledge and experience with HEDIS and medical record reviews. • Experience with medical record retrievals and reviews
