HRIS Administration

  • Leverages Workday in creating efficiencies to support the growth of the organization.
  • Develops procedures, guidelines, documentation, and job aids to facilitate training to key system users.
  • Drives all phases of Workday enhancement and ongoing support processes, including gathering requirements and analysis, functional and technical design, report writing, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Partner with business functions in HR (Business Partners, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to understand and document reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Enhances the associate experience through automation resulting in self-service options for associates and managers.
  • Creates and manages reporting related to people, benefits, and compensation.
  • Manages reporting for regulatory compliance (AAP, EEO, ACA, etc.).
  • Manages electronic file feeds and interfaces with Workday, benefit carriers and other business systems.
  • Troubleshoots and creates HRIS workflows, expressions, and processes.
  • Manages and coordinates updates, implementations, and integrations in the HRIS and applicant tracking system.
  • Maximizes the use of HRIS for talent management and reporting.
  • Manages Workday security groups to ensure appropriate access to the system.

 Technology Support

  • Leverages Company systems and technology to create efficiencies and workflows throughout the organization.
  • Improves HCM data quality and drives continuous improvements.

 Benefits Administration

  • Manages benefit carrier security, reporting and access.
  • Provides regular benefit reporting to Human Resources team.
  • Configures open enrollment and life event sessions in Workday.

Projects and Other

  • Performs special projects as recommended by the management team, payroll, or human resources.
  • Recommends new approaches for continuous improvement of department practices and policies, such as simplifying or enhancing forms and processes.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements before going into job)

  • Bachelor’s degree in field related to Human Resources or Payroll and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Workday or large HRIS systems (PayCom, Kronos, Oracle, etc.).
  • Works productively and efficiently, balanced with a high-level of quality.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HRIS administration experience.


The position requires work in an office environment.
