Social Media Coordinator (Community Engagement Coordinator)

The Community Engagement Coordinator supports strategic and annual plans for communicating the mission and accomplishments of Job One to various Job One constituencies. They will develop communication tools (including, but not limited to the website, social and digital media, brochures, flyers, press releases, newsletters, event promotions, direct-mail campaigns, and brand integrity) to effectively carry out communications and fundraising plans administered by Dir. Of Community Engagement. This position will also provide support in the grant writing process when directed.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s in Communications/Marketing or equivalent related experience

EXPERIENCE

Proven success in marketing or communications, including written and oral communications

Graphic design, including social networking communications (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter

Non-profit and fund-development experience preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft computer applications, including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Adobe Creative Suite desired. Bloomerang experience desired. Other graphic design and database management programs will be considered.
