AIDS WALK 2016 will be held Saturday, April 30th at Theis Park, located at Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd and Oak St., just south of the Nelson-Atkins Museum. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Stage entertainment and Welcoming Ceremonies commence at 9:00 am. And at 10 am, WE WALK!

This year’s theme, One Step Closer, celebrates the progress of our 28-year journey to raise funds for those affected by HIV/AIDS in our hometown and sparks us to keep walking until we realize our goal of an AIDS-Free Kansas City.

On this site, you can join or create a team, craft your personal fundraising appeal and harness the power of email and social media to spread your message of support and hope. The site also provides Team and Walker progress bars, a thorough FAQ, a download center and a tab for Virtual Walkers.

Yes, Virtual Walkers! New this year, you can recruit team members who live out of town or who are unable to join us on WALK Day, as Virtual Walkers. On WALK Day, they can participate via a LIVE video feed and receive all rewards for their fundraising efforts.
