It's easier now, more than ever, to be comfortable in our identities as LGBTQ+ people.
It's just as easy to assume our work ends with self love and acceptance. We surround ourselves with allies and safe people but often forget creating a "safe space" for all starts with US.
We can't expect allyship if we aren't able to model it or advocate for ourselves and the most vulnerable among us.
Join Certified Inclusion Professional KT McCalla brush up on what it means to be an ally within the community and discuss effective advocacy tools for your social, familial, and professional spaces.
Emerge is a monthly session for emerging and transitioning professionals to gather and share ideas on current topics. The evening will include a one-hour presentation followed by networking. We look forward to an evening of insightful conversation and growing connections with you.
Spotlight AR is located at 108 W 19th Street, Kansas City, MO 64108. The building has a dedicated parking lot attendees will be able to use during the program.
