Join us for our upcoming LGBTQ+ Older Adults Coalition meeting! KC Shepherd's Center continues to foster a growing coalition that supports and collaborates with older LGBTQ+ adults and organizations serving this community. As a stakeholder-driven group, we provide space for engagement, advocacy, and policy discussions to uplift historically marginalized voices.
 

We are honored to welcome our special guest speaker, Maj. Kara Corcoran, who will share her powerful story. With 17 years of service, Maj. Corcoran faces the possibility of being purged from the military, jeopardizing her full retirement benefits at 18 years under rules she was grandfathered into. Her situation highlights the ongoing challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, especially as the Supreme Court considers the Trump ban. We look forward to your participation!
