Board member Joel Barrett is a Contract Business Development with the Missouri Small Business Development Center and owns his own small business Joel Speaks Out. At the SBDC he facilitates start-up classes and coaches over 200 entrepreneurs.  He will be joined by Rebecca Gubbels who is a Business & Program Development Consultant with the SBDC.

Rebecca Gubbels brings a banking and business entrepreneur background to her role of SBDC business and program development specialist and business coach. She teaches entrepreneurial courses, consults with business owners and manages special projects. Her finance background includes managing a Small Business Administration Microloan Program, a decade of commercial lending and development of financial products for the small business market.
