Masterminds Presents: Small Business Matters-May

Masterminds presents is a lunch and learn program designed for and by small business owners and entrepreneurs.  Each session will feature a discussion with small business owners, resource connections, and a question and answer session around the five foundational building blocks for establishing, sustaining, and growing a small business.  Together we will explore legal matters, marketing and business development, accounting and finances, human resources and staffing, and communications.

May’s Masterminds Presents is all about legal. Join us as our three panelists will provide advice and resource around topics like:

• What documents do you need for your new business?

• What’s the best classification for your business? LLC? Sole-proprietorship? Monarchy? (Okay we’re kidding on that last one)

• How do taxes work for businesses?

• Do I need a contract for every single client? (Short answer – Yes).

• What do I need to do annually to keep my business up to date – legally?
