The Missouri Gay Rodeo—officially known as the All-Inclusive Show Me State Rodeo—is where classic Western grit meets unapologetic fun and community spirit. At its heart, it’s a true rodeo, packed with all the adrenaline and skill you’d expect: bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, and team roping. But what sets it apart is the welcoming atmosphere—it’s a space where everyone, from seasoned riders to first-timers, can step into the arena and feel like they belong.

This rodeo proudly celebrates inclusivity, bringing together LGBTQ+ participants, allies, and anyone curious enough to give it a try. Alongside the traditional events, you’ll find a playful, campy side that keeps the crowd laughing and cheering. Think goat dressing—where teamwork and chaos collide as someone tries to wrangle a goat into a pair of whitey-tighties—or steer decorating, where ribbons and skill take center stage, ever seen a drag queen ride a steer? With our Wild drag event you just might!

More than just a competition, the Missouri Gay Rodeo is a celebration of community, self-expression, and joy. It honors the spirit of the West while rewriting the rules to make sure there’s room for everyone in the saddle—and plenty of reasons to smile along the way.
