Greetings!
We are thrilled to invite you to an engaging and insightful Rainbow Collective in-person session entitled "A Pharmacist's Perspective: Queer Health & Navigating Health Insurance" led by Danny Weiss PharmD, MBA.
Daniel "Danny" Weiss has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical experience and over 15 years of managed care experience. Prior to joining Blue KC in 2023, he served as Executive Director of Pharmacy at Sanford Health Plan and as Director of Pharmacy Benefits for Dakotacare.
Earning his Doctor of Pharmacy from South Dakota State University and an MBA from Augustana University, Danny brings business and clinical experience with a collaborative and patient-centric approach.
Explore Health Insurance and its impacts to Queer Health!
This session will discuss some of the pressing topics related to queer health and health insurance, all from a pharmacy perspective. While the session will dive into queer health topics, this is not a comprehensive look. The goal is to help ERGs understand the intersection of health insurance and queer health needs, especially as it relates to medication.

Our collective specializes in creating Pride in the workplace on a year-round basis!
The Rainbow Collective assembles leaders from member businesses with existing and emerging LGBTQ ERG programs to share best practices, explore relevant topics, and improve effectiveness.
Rotating between online and in-person meetings, the Rainbow Collective provides opportunities for creating community, resource sharing, skill development, and increased collaboration with other leaders and group members.
