Parking Instructions:
Please park in the Grand Street Café special event parking garage.
Take 47th Street east to McGee St. Turn Right. Turn Right again.
Enter the security gate on the east side of the parking garage.
Parking is allowed on levels A, B and C. Just follow the signs!
Enter the building through the doors on the west side of the garage.
Once inside, take the elevator to Level 1.
(Please note the parking garage will close at 8 pm)

The Mid-America GLCC and Human Rights Campaign-KC are proud to co-present the fifth annual observance of the International Transgender Day of Visibility on Thursday, March 28th at the Grand Room at Grand Street Cafe. A Transgender Resource Fair will be held from 4:00 to 7:30 pm and a Reception from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The Transgender Resource Fair is the largest in the region, featuring over 20 exhibitors.
The International Transgender Day of Visibility is a day dedicated to celebrating transgender people and raising awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide. It is a day for transgender people to stand up and be counted, and also for cis-gender people (people whose gender identity aligns with their sex at birth) to learn about and celebrate their transgender friends and family members.
A program will take place at 6:15 pm.
