POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing and Development Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission by supporting donor relations, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring administrative efficiency. The Marketing and Development Coordinator requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
- Execute KC CARE brand marketing plans, including creating and scheduling social media posts and placing ads across platforms.
- Manage KC CARE digital platforms, including the website, email tools, social media channels, and media monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with program leaders to develop and execute marketing projects tailored to their specific needs (e.g., flyers, forms, digital content, etc.).
- Oversee vendor partnerships related to marketing efforts, such as printers, graphic designers, and agency contacts, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
- Support cross-functional teams with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the execution of community engagement strategies to expand KC CARE’S visibility and awareness.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and marketing materials.
- Coordinate delivery of program support materials.
- Proofread and edit written materials (e.g. social media, brochures, letters, etc.).
Development
- Coordinate connections and communication with donors to strengthen relationships and ensure timely follow-up.
- Oversee vendor partnerships related to development initiatives
- Maintain development projects, timelines, and coordinate updates using project management software to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide logistical support for donor and community engagement events, including planning, executing, and follow-up.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, including donation tracking, key performance indicators (KPIs), financial summaries, and other relevant data.
- Maintain donor records and generate reports to track progress and opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years' experience in project management
- One year's experience in marketing or development.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, WordPress, and Squarespace
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field.
- Experience with Asana project management software or similar.
- Experience in a non-profit organization.
- Experience with donor management systems or CRMs.
- Graphic design or content creation experience.

Working Conditions
General working conditions are in a healthcare facility. As such, there is a potential exposure to virus, disease, and infection from patients while performing the duties of this job. May experience traumatic situations including psychiatric traumatized and deceased patients. Travel may be expected to community meetings, client homes, or other agencies.

While performing duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk and hear; both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel, or operate standard office or clinical equipment; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
