EMERGE is the Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce's program for emerging professionals created by your fellow emerging professionals. EMERGE is a monthly event held on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00-7:15 pm Central.
Sessions typically consist of:
- A short "Ted Talk" presentation by a subject matter expert.
- A question and answer session with the presenter.
- Networking so you can build connections with fellow emerging professionals around organic discussions on your mind.
This month's Topic:
Understanding Communication
Communication is so much more than what we speak and hear. This session will focus on the foundations of interpersonal and gender communication. We hope you leave this event with a stronger knowledge of how language and communication shape the world around us.
Spark is located at 1475 Walnut St. Kansas City, MO 64106. Our front entrance is on the corner of Truman and Walnut.
Garage Parking is available at the KC Live! Garage. Please bring the parking ticket with you for free validation up to 3 hours. Click here for directions to the garage in Maps. The garage entrance is located on 13th St. between Grand and Walnut. The entrance is in front of PBR Big Sky and has a neon "PARK" sign above it. The elevator is in the SW corner of garage and will bring you out to Walnut St.
