Description
The Craig "Satch" Sanders Memorial .1k is a fun way to support Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care - no training necessary! The grueling race takes place at 2 p.m., August 13 at Patrick’s Bar & No Grill, 8251 Wornall Road. You’ll make your way ALL the way around the parking lots. Extra points for not spilling your drink!
Registration includes t-shirt, lunch (grilled hot dogs and sausages, homemade dessert) at 12:30ish, and finishers “medal.” Silent auction and raffle take place after the run.
This fun event is in memory of Craig “Satch” Sanders and Shirley “Mom” Sanders. All proceeds benefit Kansas City Hospice! Last year’s run raised $62,000 for Kansas City Hospice!
“I started a fundraiser for Kansas City Hospice to honor my brother. It doesn’t come close to showing my family’s gratitude, but it helps our hearts to give something back to such a great organization,” said Pat Sanders. “We were also fortunate to have the same great experience when my mom was served by Kansas City Hospice House.
