Description

This month's COVID Cafe, will meet Thursday, April 15th, 2021. We will start at 8 am.  So pour a good cup of coffee and settle in at your desk or kitchen table for a good time connecting with new and old friends discussing interesting topics.

In addition to everyone getting a short opportunity to share the latest happenings in their business, we will break out into a small group discussion around:

Conversation Starters

Lets face it.  Awkward silence gives most of us the creeps and the art of "Small Talk" is how we fill the space. How do you decide what to talk about when you meet someone new in a business environment?  

Is making small talk a challenge for you? Why?
Do you stick to business or use the opportunity to connect at a personal level?
What pitfalls should you avoid when making small talk?
What are some of your favorite small talk topics?
 

We often learn best from our peers.  Coffee Connections is all about getting to know your peers by offering lessons learned and best practices.
