Sr. Clinical Process Analyst

Summary
The Senior Clinical Business Process Analyst role is critical to GEHA, responsible for overseeing the large-scale integration of clinical platforms across multiple departments, including Population Health, Health & Wellbeing, Clinical Quality, Pharmacy, Medical Management, and Dental. This role ensures that all internal stakeholders are aligned with a new vendor's processes, facilitates organizational integration, and enhances operational efficiency through data-driven strategies.


This role receives direct supervision from the Director of Clinical Operations and Transformation and plays a key role in building and executing integration strategies, relaying business requirements, and continuously supporting efforts to optimize clinical operations. The individual in this role will leverage their technical expertise and business acumen to support data analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
 
 
Duties

  • Lead Integration Efforts: Oversee the integration of clinical platforms across all relevant departments, ensuring seamless alignment of business processes with the new vendor’s system.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the external vendor to align integration efforts, ensuring a cohesive approach to organizational transformation.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced technical skills to analyze data and generate actionable insights that support the integration process and improve operational efficiency.
  • Business Process Documentation: Document and standardize business processes across departments to ensure compliance with established standards and facilitate smooth integration.
  • Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement strategies that support the integration of clinical platforms, ensuring alignment with GEHA’s overall business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of integration efforts, refine strategies based on real-time data and feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives within clinical operations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders, including senior management, to drive informed decision-making and ensure transparency in integration efforts.
 
 
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
 
 
 
Experience Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in business process analysis, with a strong background in healthcare integration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with analytical and reporting tools – (SQL, Power BI, and other reporting suites)
  • Healthcare Experience: Demonstrated experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in clinical platform integration.
 
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Integration Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of large-scale system integrations within healthcare settings, with the ability to align business processes and facilitate organizational change.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and other reporting tools, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Business Process Documentation: Ability to document and standardize business processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and facilitating smooth integration.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement integration strategies that align with GEHA’s business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Problem-solving and Adaptability: Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt to evolving healthcare landscapes, making data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
