Maintenance Technician
Location: Shawnee, KS
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay: 27.00 - $32.00/hr depending on experience.
A local manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team! This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all production line equipment and tools
- Evaluate, modify, and repair mechanical equipment as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical background with knowledge of equipment operations
- Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic machines
- Basic electrical knowledge (PLC experience a plus)
- Basic welding knowledge and familiarity with welding equipment
- Able to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
